One of the many ways that UBS is way ahead of competitors is in the area of custom counter top design, fabrication, and installation. We have our own, on-site counter top fabrication facility in Westerly. Our talented craftsmen are factory trained by Corian, Avonite and Wilsonart. They've built gorgeous, seamless surfaces for many homes and businesses in the area.
Color, texture and edge treatment are important, but first you must select from materials such as: Marble, Granite, Soapstone, Solid Surface materials such as Dupont's Corian, "Gibralter" by Wilsonart, or Avonite. You may also select from Solid Surface Veneer (SSV) materials such as, Laminate, Butcher-block, Tile, or a combination.
Custom edge treatments are available on our laminate tops, to give even the most economical counter top a custom "look". Laminate edge options include:
- Square edge
- Bevel edge
- Bullnose edge
- Wood edge
- Solid Surface edge
